Lingmoor Guest House

It was a nice stay, we spent 2 nights there rooms were good and had toilets were nice and clean. Kettle, hair dryer ironing box and a mini fridge were there. Due to the COVID 19 protocols the check-in and check-outs were contactless. There is an Indian restaurant near the stay and supermarkets are also nearby. The stay only a 4 mins walk from railway station.

Great location very close to Windermere train station and bus stop. Though not a lake side view cottage but since we didn't have a car we preferred this with family. Very clean and worth the ££ Would definitely go back.This was just what we wanted for this holiday.

Stayed for 2 nights with my hubby and granddaughter, the room was very clean and welcoming, it had everything we needed, my only criticism would be that when my hubby was given the code for our room, it didn't say what room number we were, there were 3 rooms on the first floor and I think more upstairs. My hubby had to try all 3 rooms on the first floor before we eventually got into our room and of course it was the last one he tried!!. It would be better to give the room number as well as the code.

It's a great location! It's near by Windermere station. Walkable distance from the high street. Room was super clean and good standard of service, especially need to mention "Helen", who did our room service, really appreciate her for the work, she was did.

Typical small rooms of a Victorian building might shock visitors used to USA size rooms. But quality of room, beds and bathroom were top notch. Smooth white sheets fluffy white towels and deep soft carpet. Spotless. Handy for all of Windermere and there is a taxi service advertised in the room which was also recommended to us by locals in the pub. Well supplied coffee tray with decaff, full strength, tea hot chocolate and biscuits. Tray for mucky hiking boots too. Radiators have drying racks which were very useful yesterday. Wine glasses and a corkscrew too. TV and WiFi. Public car park is 5 minutes away and you can park overnight.

Amazing location! We stayed in room 4. It's a short walk to the shops for any necessities. Cosy room, perfect for a short break when only need it for the bed at night. There was a mini fridge, wine glasses & corkscrew along with usual tea/coffee which was a nice touch. A floorstanding fan, but this blocked easy access to wardrobe due to room dimensions. Its one of few modernised places I've been to with regard to accessing streaming services - be sure to log out! En suite a little small, but fine for a few days stay. Loved the bedding. Easy entry with keybox. We'd stay here again.

Perfect location in Windermere and managed to bag a parking space in near by street as no official parking for guest house. Room 4 - could do with new mattress but room apart from this was perfect. Good view from window, mini fridge and wine glasses provided. Little things but so often in guest houses you get a mug and a plastic cup only. Worth the price paid for two nights. Usual occurrence these days of self check in, not sure I like it, undecided, miss the meet and greet. But not a big issue all went OK.

The owner Ruth it’s such an nice woman and she helped us to accommodate and very hospitable ! I love the room we stayed, it’s feel so much like home , clean , well decorated and organised. Plenty of storage in the room , tea , coffee , mini fridge , kettle , toiletries. 10/10 we will definitely come back here ! It’s free parking front of the hotel if you are lucky , otherwise you can park for reasonable price at the rail station which is 2 min away to walk .
